The famous one

The Stay Put Towelkeeps its place.

You know the routine — you hang a towel, you walk away, it slides off the counter two minutes later. So we designed a towel that doesn’t. Thoughtfully shaped and finished by hand so it grips the handle and stays where you leave it, wash after wash.

  • Grips, doesn’t slide

Shaped and finished to hang on the handle and stay put.

  • Soft, absorbent cotton

Real cloth that dries hands properly — and softens with every wash.

  • Easy to care for

Machine washable, so it fits the kitchen you actually have.

Our story

We love to sew — and it shows

Girl Next Door Crafts started the way a lot of good things do: with fabric we couldn’t leave behind. Today we still make every towel, bowl cozy, rice bag and blanket ourselves, one at a time.

We’re proud to share a stall at Weathered Together Market on First Street in Albany with our friends at Crafty Mac. Together we’ve curated a little collection of unique items for your home.

When you buy one of our pieces, you’re buying something someone chose the fabric for, sewed, and tucked into a bag by hand. Thank you for choosing to purchase one of our items — it truly means the world to us.
